Common questions
Before you check a recording
Do you keep my voice?
Audio submitted to analyses started on our site is processed in memory and not written to storage: it is deleted after analysis. Reports are available for at least 30 days and kept until you delete them or close your account. You can ask us to erase everything (GDPR Art. 17).
What does inconclusive mean?
Every paid result falls in one of three bands: strong synthetic signals, no strong synthetic signal, or inconclusive. Inconclusive is a valid outcome: it means the recording does not support a firm call. If a single scan is inconclusive, the credit is not used or is returned automatically, so you can analyze another recording.
Which plan for a call center?
The Business plan is $899 / month: 2,000 scans per month, API key and webhooks, multi-user with SSO (SAML) on request, and checks on wire-transfer and CEO-fraud calls. A payment verification pilot ($990 one-off, 30 days) scopes voice checks on payment-authorization calls with your fraud team. Enterprise from $2,900 / month and on-premise pilots are scoped by contract, with no online checkout.
How is ORAVYS different from a single-vendor detector?
ORAVYS analyzes a recording for signs that the voice is AI-generated and states its limits: the result is a score with its uncertainty, in one of three bands, and inconclusive is a valid outcome. Each paid result includes a report page with the file fingerprint and timestamp. It is offered as an API inside the systems you already operate, or on-premise inside your own perimeter.
How do I use the API?
The API plan is $99 / month: 100 scans and 1,000 API calls a month, with the same three-band result as a single scan. Sandbox keys are self-serve from your account; production keys are opened on request. Billed monthly, cancel anytime: access continues until the end of the paid period.
How does the free check work?
You get one free quick check per day, per network, on a clip of up to 30 seconds. It is a screening check, not a verdict, with no card and no account. The audio is deleted after processing.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is in USD. The free quick check is one short clip per day; a single scan is $9.90 one time (clips up to 10 minutes, report link valid for 30 days); a pack of 5 scans is $39.90 with no expiry; the API plan is $99 / month. Business is $899 / month and enterprise starts from $2,900 / month, by contract. Students and researchers get 50% off with a verified academic e-mail.
What does a result mean?
Every paid result falls in one of three bands: strong synthetic signals, no strong synthetic signal, or inconclusive. When the result is conclusive, a synthetic-voice score from 0 to 100 is shown; it is not a certainty percentage. Each paid result includes a report page with the file fingerprint and timestamp. The free quick check is a screening only, not a banded verdict.
Is an inconclusive scan refunded?
If your single scan comes back inconclusive, it is not charged: the credit is not used, or is returned automatically, so you can analyze another recording. If you would rather have your money back, write to us. No subscription is needed for a single scan or a pack.
How is my audio handled?
Your voice data is encrypted and never shared. Analyses started on the site are processed in memory; the free check by e-mail stores the recording for at most 48 hours, and API jobs keep the file only while the job runs. No audio is retained for training by default: the Research Contribution opt-in is unchecked by default and revocable at any time.
What do you offer to businesses?
For teams: the API plan at $99 / month, the Business plan at $899 / month with API key, webhooks and multi-user access, and enterprise from $2,900 / month with on-premise pilots by contract. There is no online checkout for Business and enterprise: we scope each deployment with you first. Business plans include audit trails and documentation to support your EU AI Act Art. 50 transparency work and DPIA; this is not legal advice.
How do I contact you?
Use the contact form and pick the closest topic: a suspected deepfake call, a recording to verify, a forensic report for legal proceedings, your own voice cloned, API access, enterprise, call center, banking / KYC, insurance, or a partnership. We typically respond within 24 to 48 hours. For a confidential briefing, say so in your message.
How does it work?
Send a recording: record or upload a clip of up to 30 seconds for the free check, or up to 10 minutes for a paid scan. Several checks look for signs of synthetic generation, and when they disagree, we say so. The result lands in one of three bands, and paid results come with a report page.
